Gateshead Adult Mental Health Peer Support Service host a family group to support families who are seeking Asylum or are Refugees and would like to socialise with others and their children, while they can cook side by side each other and the children can access a range of activities while parents are cooking together and socialising. 

They are also working in partnership with services and are looking at funding to support this family group, moving forward and where they can cook meals based on their culture, and try different meals from other cultures.
